After the Fall

In this programme we spoke to people from across Wales who were affected by the fallout caused by the sudden departure of American and NATO troops from Afghanistan in August 2021. Contributors include a former soldier who served in the region, an Afghan soldier who was given sanctuary in Wales, and people in Wales who worked to accommodate refugees in the wake of the withdrawal. The programme was broadcast in August 2023.
